Perimeter of a square

Perimeter of a square is the length of its outer boundary.

Perimeter of a square

Example:
If one side of the square is 3 units long then the square perimeter will be:
P = 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 = 12 units

Perimeter can be calculated even easier following the formula P = a × 3 where a is the length of a side.
